First, you need to consider if the furniture has personal, sentimental, antique or monetary value. Is it comfortable and does it look good in its space? Older furniture is usually built much better, which is a good reason to have it re-upholstered. A very large percent of new furniture is built out of soft wood, particle board, and cardboard. Often, when the price of new furniture is low, the materials that make up the furniture are not good quality. When you buy new furniture it is rare to find the color and size to fit your needs. When you upholster, you can pick the color you like, material you prefer and size to fit your needs. It is also often possible to change the shape of the furniture up to some extent, so it would match a similar one from a magazine or picture.
Q. What is the turnaround time for upholstery projects to be completed?
Once all materials are received, our average turnaround time is between 2-3 weeks and longer for the holidays; depending on scope of the project.

Once all materials are received the turnaround time is 2-3 weeks.

Q. How do I figure out how many yards of fabric I need for my project?
For upholstery: the easiest method is to email us dimensions, pictures of what you need recovered, and your contact information to [email protected].
For drapery: we encourage you to use our measurement guide on our website to get exact measurements as certain styles may vary, and e-mail us these dimensions, pictures of the area, and your contact information to [email protected].
Q. Do I have to purchase your fabrics for my projects?
We have a large selection of high quality fabrics from the top designers and manufacturers available. However, because each customer has different preferences in style and color, you are more than welcome to purchase your fabric from anywhere. Please keep in mind that we are not responsible for any defects or colors for materials you bring in.
